Dr. Mackles presented a program at our “Orthopedic Alumni Conference” and it was very well received. The information was timely and the presentation was excellent. Being a physician, Dr. Mackles connected well with his audience, and we hope to have him speak again when the opportunity arises.
Dr. Mackles addressed a specialty medical society CME meeting of 150-200 OBGYN’s, nurses, and microbiologists who work in the field of reproductive medicine at Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage, CA. His program, Doctor, Tie Your Shoes Before You Trip – The Prevention of Medical Errors, was very well received and addressed timely issues facing the healthcare community today.
Dr. Mackles brings a personable and professional approach to his talk; making fun of himself and providing stories and examples from his time spent as a physician. He connects with his audience as only a colleague who’s been there can.
Doctor, Tie Your Shoes Before You Trip is a lively , entertaining program addressing a very serious subject. It is a critical message physicians and healthcare professionals need to “get and use” for the good of their patients.

Dr. Mackles presented his informative and entertaining program entitled The Prevention of Medical Errors. The program was so successful that we have asked Dr. Mackles to return to facilitate another program on Hospital Risks and Patient Safety Issues at our facility. Dr. Mackles has also been invited to present another informative lecture at our sister hospital in Hialeah. We feel fortunate to have a leading professional who is willing and able to share his experience and knowledge with us so that we can continually improve our service to our patients.
Dr. Mackles conducted a well presented and interesting lecture on the topic of Prevention of Medical Errors for our Medical Staff. The evaluations from our Medical Staff Members were very positive and the physicians gained better insight into techniques and methods for reducing / eliminating unnecessary medical errors. In the future, we would be glad to welcome him back to assist us in providing continuing education for our Medical Staff. Medical Error Prevention is an important subject and by having a physician who has” been there and done that” facilitate the presentation; it gives a much higher level of credibility to his peers. A strong program that I highly recommend.
Dr. Mackles addressed a group of 45-50 attendees on his program, Doctor, Tie Your Shoes Before You Trip – The Prevention of Medical Errors. The responses from the evaluations were outstanding. The presentation was video fed live to our sister hospital and we videotaped the program and plan to use it for in-house training purposes over the next 6 months. We were very pleased with Dr. Mackles’ presentation and believe it was valuable for all who attended.
